Randstad is currently recruiting experienced Payroll Support Administrators for a well known State Government department located within Adelaide's CBD.
Multiple positions are available and the duration of assignment being 3-6 months with a high view for extension. Days of work will be Monday-Friday. Pay rates for these roles are between $43-45 per hour plus Super. If you have a background in Payroll we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the process of end-to-end payroll for a high volume of employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Help maintain accurate employee records, including salary, benefits, and deductions
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax, benefits
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure payroll information is up-to-date and accurate
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in Payroll support administration
- knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Familiarity with relevant payroll legislation and tax regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to pick up new programs easily and quickly

Essential Experience and Skills:
- Prior experience in payroll processing support, or workforce planning administration
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Technical Proficiency and ability to pick up new programs quickly
- High level verbal and written communication
- Ability to think on your feet and resolve conflicts promptly
- Hold a current NPC
To be successful you will be immediately available and meet the above criteria. Previous experience within government will be highly regarded.
