My Aged Care client based in Nuriootpa has a great opportunity for an experienced full time Finance Administrator to join their high performing team. This position, reporting to the Assistant Accountant, will be responsible for the day to day activities for weekly accounts payable and associated tasks in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, this role will also involve monthly reconciliations, accounting and administration tasks, whilst achieving a high level of customer service to all stakeholders. Responsibilities
To maintain an efficient, timely and accurate Accounts Payable function that includes but is not limited to:
- Supporting the day to day processing of creditor invoices, cheques, EFT and payment advices, including reviewing, verifying, coding and matching invoices
- Supporting the day-to-day processing of debtor invoices
- Handling of Creditor and Debtor enquiries
- Support and contribute towards improved service delivery, new business processes and business growth
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies
- Complete credit card reconciliations
- Monthly statement reconciliation for outstanding or missing invoices
- Monthly reconciliation of the work in progress projects
- Petty Cash reimbursement
- General Administration including completion of stationery orders, filing and other miscellaneous tasks as required
- Setting up Assets in the Asset Register in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards
- To maintain and archive records using the electronic referencing and labelling system
- Any other duties as directed by the Assistant Accountant, CEO and General Managers.
Ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative when required
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Intermediate skills in MS Office
- Up to date vaccinations
- A current National Police Check or the ability to apply for one
