We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Process-Based Business Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for driving process improvement initiatives, mapping business processes, writing clear and comprehensive procedures, and managing the documentation of key processes and policies. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with new frameworks and policy engagements while maintaining up-to-date procedure documents on the company intranet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Modelling: Develop and maintain process models to represent business work flows, ensuring they align with organisational objectives and industry best practices.
- Process Mapping: Create and update detailed process maps that visually represent the steps involved in key business processes, helping to identify areas for improvement.
- Procedure Writing: Write clear, concise, and user-friendly procedure documents that outline standard operating procedures (SOP) for various business functions.
- Business Analysis: Act as a process-based business analyst, analysing current work flows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to enhance organisational performance.
- Frameworks and Policy Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement new frameworks, policies, and regulations, ensuring that business processes comply with internal and external requirements.
- Procedure Document Posting: Ensure that all updated procedure documents are published on the company intranet for easy access by team members and other relevant departments.
- Documenting Key Processes and Policies: Maintain a centralised repository of key business processes and policies, ensuring all documents are current, accurate, and accessible for staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in process modelling, mapping, and procedure writing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and improve complex business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in tools for process mapping and documentation.
- Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement new policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of intranet content management and document management systems is a plus.
