Job Summary:
The Principle Workplace Relations Advisor is responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance on workplace relations matters to senior management and employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workplace relations law and regulations, as well as experience in managing complex workplace issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on workplace relations matters to senior management and employees
- Develop and implement workplace relations policies and procedures
- Provide a deep understanding of Enterprise Agreements
- Manage complex workplace issues, such as grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters
- Conduct workplace investigations and mediation
- Represent the organisation in workplace relations matters, including at hearings and tribunals
- Stay up-to-date on workplace relations law and regulations
- Provide training and development to employees on workplace relations matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, law, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in workplace relations, including at least 3 years in a senior advisory role
- Strong understanding of workplace relations law and regulations
- Expert knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 and contract law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
