About the role:

• Provide expert guidance on the implementation and monitoring of safety policies and programs, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
• Identify safety trends and issues, offering operational support and guidance.
• Develop and maintain the WHS Management System in alignment with standards.
• Lead incident investigations, hazard management, and safety reporting, ensuring timely and accurate communication of safety metrics and outcomes.
• Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and promote a positive health, safety and
  wellbeing culture.

Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in Workplace Health and Safety legislative requirements.
• Certificate IV or equivalent qualification in Workplace Health and Safety
• Previous experience working in the NDIS sector (advantageous)
• Current unrestricted Tasmanian driver’s license
• Registration to work with vulnerable people (children)
• Completion of the ‘Quality, Safety and You’ - NDIS Worker Orientation Module
