Permanent Full-time with option for 9 day fortnight.
Location: Hobart.

Salary range: $85,906 to $93,915 pa. (Wage rates expected to be increased in July 2024)

Responsibilities:
Development, Implementation, and Maintenance of WHS Policies and Procedures
Investigation of WHS Incidents and Hazards
Support to WHS Committees
Conduct of WHS Audits and Inspections
Promotion of WHS Awareness and Training
Preparation of WHS Reports and Special Projects
Knowledge and Experience:
- Familiarity with current WHS issues, policies, and practices. Experience in drafting and implementing WHS policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Proficiency in maintaining WHS records using Microsoft Office and WHS-specific databases.
- Understanding of WHS Legislation, Codes of Practice, and AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to conduct WHS incident investigations (e.g., ICAM) and audits. Preferably, holds WHS auditor training or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear information to management and employees, facilitating informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
Essential
• Diploma in Work Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
• Current Driver Licence.
Desirable
• Qualifications in ICAM
