Welder/Sheet Metal Worker

We are looking for a qualified Welder/Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, modifying, and maintaining vehicles, plant, and equipment to industry-leading standards while minimizing downtime. Additionally, you will provide training, mentoring, and support to apprentices and trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, modify, and maintain high-standard vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Provide mentoring and support to apprentices and trainees.
• Work autonomously while being part of a team.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Sheet Metal (Certificate III or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in welding and sheet metal work.
• Post-qualification certificates (advantageous).
• General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) ticket (mandatory).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Current open class driver’s licence (mandatory).

Health & Safety Requirements:

• This position has a significant risk of exposure to diseases preventable by vaccination. Successful candidates must have the following vaccinations in line with the Australian Immunisation Handbook:
  • Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Q Fever, Tetanus.

Additional Requirements:

• “HR” or “HC” class driver’s licence (advantageous).
