We are looking for a First-Class welder with experience in large structural welding.

Schedule: Full-time, 38-hour week, Monday – Friday + plenty of overtime

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings.
Assist in welding sheet-metal frames for medium to large structural steel frames.
Troubleshoot and repair welding defects.
Use appropriate welding methods for metal and structural fabrications (MIG/TIG).
Secure and fasten components using clamps, braces, jacks, and bolt straps.
Inspect welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.

The Candidate:

Ability to understand and interpret welding specifications independently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication.
Commitment to safe work practices.
Must be prepared to do a weld test

Desired Competencies:

Certificate III in Engineering (Welding/Fabrication)
Minimum 3 years post trade experience
MIG welding
