I am currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Communications & Engagement Officers and Advisors to join our talent pool for upcoming opportunities within Local, State, and Commonwealth Government in Melbourne, Victoria.
If you have a background in developing and implementing communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, content creation, and managing public relations, I encourage you to express your interest. I am looking for individuals who can effectively convey information, build strong relationships, and contribute to positive outcomes for the community.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Developing and executing communication plans
- Creating engaging content for various channels
- Managing stakeholder relationships
- Providing strategic communications advice
- Coordinating events and campaigns
- Handling media inquiries
The preference is for candidates with 1-2 years worth of experience in a similar role within the Local, State or Commonwealth Government environments and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. With that said, certain areas from the Not-For-Profit, Higher Education and Commercial sector can adapt well, so I do encourage you to get in touch if you are interested in making the transition into government.
