The role
Our Federal Government client is seeking a VIP IT Support Officer. This non-ongoing position will be equivalent toAPS5 orAPS6, depending on the skills and experience of the applicant.
Responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with influence with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience providing technical support and assistance to a range of stakeholders including VIP clients.
- Demonstrated initiative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Understand the need to respect and safeguard government operations.
- Adaptability and flexibility to deal with shifting demands and requirements.
- Understanding of IT Service delivery frameworks (eg. ITIL, Incident management, etc).
- Proven experience in building a positive culture with a focus on service quality to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and confidence.
We are looking for candidates who have skills or experience with as many of the following as possible:
- Microsoft applications including Windows 11, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365.
- Hardware Asset Management.
- Virtual Environment Support (including Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop)
- Video Conferencing.
- Mobile devices including Android and IOS.
- Mult-function printing devices.
