About the Role
As a veterinary medical receptionist, you’ll be at the heart of operations, providing vital administrative support and ensuring a welcoming environment for pets and their owners. Working in a fast-paced, rewarding setting, you’ll manage client communications, appointments, and records, collaborating closely with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional experiences for every furry guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and pets, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Coordinate appointments, including consultations and procedures.
- Manage inbound calls and emails, providing accurate information and updates.
- Maintain client records and process payments, ensuring compliance with clinic policies.
- Support veterinarians and pet hotel staff with administrative tasks, scheduling, and documentation.
- Contribute to a positive client experience by streamlining processes and addressing inquiries efficiently.
What Are We Looking For?
- Veterinary Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary environment (vet nursing, vet receptionist, etc.) is highly desirable.
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with vet-specific systems and software is a plus.
- Passion for Animals: A genuine love for dogs and cats and a commitment to their well being.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Organised and Detail-Oriented: Proficiency in multitasking and prioritising in a busy environment.
