As an Undergraduate Engineer, you will undertake your ongoing studies of a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Course at a recognised South-East Queensland University, and progress development through established learning opportunities within the program/section
Your main duties will include:
... - Assist in the asset and non-asset data, systems and connectivity across Transport and Stormwater corridors, precincts, catchments and regions using digital engineering and building information modeling.
- Assist in the maintenance of local roads and drainage assets
- Effective asset management and financial reporting over all roads and drainage asset
- Provide technical input in the development of the advanced assets and service management plan
- Assist and undertake field capture for infrastructure asset data capture, inspections and assessments for but not limited to roads, drainage and bridge infrastructure.
- Provide advice to internal and external customers in relation to asset and service related enquiries utilising Council’s asset management systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work with a range of technical information for the purpose of providing support to the roads group
- Must possess a current ‘C’ class Drivers License
