Our client is a large, well-known Logistics company that is currently seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator to join their Transport team
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm, based in Altona. Interviews commencing immediately for the right person
You will be responsible for
- Manifesting driver paperwork
- Allocating drivers, company and sub-contractor fleet
- Planning and allocating pickup and delivery tasks to ensure all pickups and deliveries are completed in accordance with customer and legislative requirements.
- Creating pallet dockets
- Booking in customer freight with DC
- Liaising with customers with a focus on a high level of customer service
- Problem solving of warehousing and delivery issues
- Assisting stock control
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have
- 2-3 years experience in fleet control/transport allocation
- SAP & Kronos experience preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and self motivated
- High standard of work
