Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and operations of plant and equipment.
- Support tradespeople with a variety of tasks in the workshop and on-site.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as required.
- Adhere to all safety and operational protocols at all times.
- Perform general labouring tasks as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current LF Forklift License (essential).
- Gantry Ticket (preferable).
- Dogger Ticket (preferable).
- Current Manual Driver’s License (essential).
- White Card (essential).
- 1+ years of experience in a trades assistant or related role (preferably in heavy industry or rail).
- Strong safety awareness and a commitment to following procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
