About your new role

• Assisting trades people with inspection, repair and overhaul services of earthmoving equipment.
• Complete ‘Take 5’ risk assessments & other safety measures with trades teams/leaders.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
• Work in a large team environment to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Order spare parts and basic administrative duties.
• Use hand & power tools and operate workshop mobile lifting equipment.

What you'll need to succeed

Along with relevant experience as a Trade Assistant, you will need to have:

• Demonstrate & apply quality control techniques.
• Proficient in basic measurement and inspection.
• Maintenance of hand tools.
• Strong communication skills & ability to demonstrate safe work practices.
• High Risk Licenses; Forklift & Gantry Crane (desirable)
• Police Check within 3 months or ability to obtain.
• Pass a pre employment medical & drug/alcohol screenings.
