Randstad is seeking multiple Trade Yard Assistants to join a busy and dynamic team in a leading hardware supply yard. This is an ongoing casual role offering full-time hours, perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work and a fast-paced environment. Full time employment can be awarded for the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✅ Assisting customers with hardware purchases, including timber, concreting products, and timber sheets.

✅ Cutting timber to length as per customer requirements.
✅ Loading customer vehicles and trucks with trade materials.
✅ Picking and preparing orders of timber and hardware items.
✅ General yard maintenance and stock organisation.
✅ Engaging with customers to provide excellent service.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
✔️ Comfortable with physical work and capable of heavy lifting.
✔️ Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, as the site operates 7 days a week.
✔️ Prior experience in a trade yard, hardware store, or similar environment is desirable.
✔️ A current forklift licence is highly desirable but not essential right away.
