- Competitive Pay: Earn between $32.00 to $37.00+ per hour plus penalties, with higher rates available for Trade Qualified candidates.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, with overtime and Saturday shifts available.
THE ROLE:
In this hands-on role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in manufacturing high-quality engineering structural elements. From preparation to assembly, your work will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist tradespeople with fabrication, assembly, and installation tasks.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Organise and prepare materials for the manufacturing process.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain quality control and adhere to safety standards.
- Keep the work space clean and organised.
Minimum requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or as a Trade Assistant (preferred but not essential).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Confidence in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical plans and drawings.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical fitness and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
