Trade Assistants / Welding Observers:
- Based in Kalgoorlie Depot
- Immediate start until end of July 2025
- 38 hours per week
- Up to $48.87 ph
About the role:
- Assisting welders with tasks (e.g., digging, clearing sites, fitting repair bands, brush cutting, electric jack hammering, fitting pipe repair jacks, using various hand tools etc.)
- Monitoring the safety and wellbeing of the welder during operations
Daily responsibilities:
- Work in accordance with OSH procedures
- Pipeline inspections
- Grouting operations
- Assembly and dismantling operations
- Cleaning and preparing working surfaces
- Using hand and power tools
- Water, wastewater and drainage assets
- Operational sites and public facilities
