Our client is an Australian owned leader in road construction that is experiencing exponential growth. We have a full time permanent position for a Trade Assistant to assist Heavy Vehicle and Mobile Plant Trades from their Newcastle based workshop.
If you have previous Trade Assistant experience, or have a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn, then we want to hear from you!
What’s Involved?
- Assisting Tradespeople in Workshop with servicing and maintenance
- General mechanical / workshop duties
- Occasional Deliveries
- Identifying reliability issues and improvements
- Adhering to OHS policies and procedures
What we’re looking for:
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with Mobile Plant or Heavy Vehicles highly regarded
- Workshop experience highly regarded
- Forklift ticket preferred
- Great communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent references to support your application

- Day shift Monday - Friday 7 AM starts
