We are seeking a motivated Track Project Engineer to join our team on a long-term rail maintenance contract. Based in our Horsley Park office, with travel to various sites, this role is key to delivering rail infrastructure projects (typically up to $3M in value) while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Do:
... Oversee the full project lifecycle – from estimating and tendering to on-site execution.
Manage project delivery, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful completion.
Provide technical leadership and support to graduate and undergraduate engineers.
Drive a safety-first workplace culture and ensure compliance with rail safety regulations.
Work closely with the Construction Manager to develop tenders, detailed work programs, and methodologies.
Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and project partners.
Ensure all risk management and safety compliance activities are met.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of project experience, ideally within the rail industry.
Strong knowledge of OH&S legislation and rail safety standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and project costing software (e.g., Pronto).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
RISI/Pegasus accreditation, Cat 3 Rail Medical, and a valid driver’s license.
**Must have Australian experience and Australia work rights.
