The Test Manager oversees all testing for the Asset Management System Stabilisation Project, ensuring quality, stability, and performance. The role focuses on integration, UAT, system validation, and issue resolution, delivering strategies to meet business needs.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead testing phases (e.g., System Integration, UAT, Regression) to ensure AMS functionality and integration meet requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
- Collaborate with project teams to define requirements, track issues, and manage the testing lifecycle.
- Coordinate resources, environments, schedules, and activities to meet timelines.
- Maintain test documentation, including strategies, results, and reports.
- Manage defect tracking, prioritisation, and resolution.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and recommend improvements.
- Oversee automated testing to enhance efficiency.
Experience and Skills
Essential:
- 8+ years in Test Management with experience in complex systems and AMS.
- Proficiency in test plans, strategies, and scripts across methodologies (e.g., Functional, Regression, UAT).
- Experience in agile environments and tools like Jira/Confluence.
- Strong defect management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools.
Desirable:
- Experience with cloud-based systems (Azure/AWS) and legacy-modern integrations.
- Knowledge of data migration, ETL, and validation testing.
- Understanding of government asset management practices.
