As a Test Automation Engineer, this role will lead the best practices on testing and automation framework leading to shipped software that delivers valuable outcomes for business, which include;
- Contributing to the squad achieving sprint goals following Agile processes
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives
- Design, create, execute, analyse, manual and automated tests both for the sprint as well as regression testing
- Support production deployment of applications
- Ability to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely and collaborate with developers to get them fixed
- Carry out exploratory testing within an Agile environment
- Support deployment and assist with production issues
- Providing team leadership to a group of Test engineers
- Demonstrating experience and understanding of best practice Quality Assurance in test design and execution and the latest developments in supporting toolset
Experience required
- 3-5+ years of Automation testing background using tools such as Specflow, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman or SOAP UI
- Writing feature files and developing step definitions using C#
- Experience in both browser and API based automation
- Extensive experience in Test Automation on large-scale projects
- Ability to handle high-pressure environments with complex systems
- Solid understanding and experience of testing in JIRA
- Agile development practices
Specific Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge with C#, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Experience in source control systems
- Strong experience in development and design of automation frameworks
