What we are seeking:
Randstad Digital is partnering with a leading financial services firm in the search for a Test Analyst on a 6 month basis. We are seeking an experienced Tester with SQL proficiency for querying, analyzing and validating data, ideally with experience working on Data Platforms. Ideally, you will have experience and strong understanding of Data Warehousing solutions and patterns.
About the successful candidate:
- Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in large scale, complex programs with multiple moving parts, diverse teams and high stakes.
- Ability to analyse software to identify any issues or bugs, ensuring the product is of the highest quality.
- Effective communication is part of the job, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptable and always looking for ways to improve processes.
- Financial/insurance background is very much preferred.
Required Skills:
- SQL Proficiency - expertise in SQL for querying databases and validating data through the ingestion & transformation process
- Testing for pipelines using Azure Data Factory on Microsoft Azure
- Creating test strategies for Data Warehouse projects
- Review Data requirements, user stories, design and architecture documents: providing feedback to the key stakeholders on completeness, correctness, traceability and testability
- Fineos or Hekka system (preferable)
