We are recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to join a leading global manufacturer of industrial safety solutions. This company partners with businesses in industries such as Food, Machinery & Equipment, Mining, and Construction, helping them enhance workplace safety and efficiency through innovative products and tailored solutions.
About the Role
As a Sales Account Manager, you will take ownership of the NSW/ACT territory, working closely with key national customers, distributors, and end-users to expand market share and strengthen business relationships. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established brand known for quality and reliability in the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with key industrial customers across NSW/ACT
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic account plans
- Work closely with distributors to implement channel management programs
- Build strong stakeholder relationships at both site and regional levels
- Develop pricing strategies and manage contract renewals
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ sales experience, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors
- Strong account management and consultative sales skills
- Knowledge of industrial distribution networks and end-user engagement strategies
- Ability to analyze market data and develop business plans
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive and solution-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel frequently within NSW/ACT (occasional interstate travel)
