We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative to join a global leader in high-pressure compressors and purification systems. This company has built a strong reputation for providing cutting-edge solutions across industries such as breathing air, industrial gases, and CNG.
About the Role
Based in Western Sydney, this role focuses on sales development across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. You’ll work closely with the sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities, engage with clients, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and target new sales channels within the compressor, gas, and engineering industries
- Support the sales team in achieving or exceeding regional targets
- Respond to customer inquiries and prepare technical quotations
- Work closely with engineering teams to provide relevant product information and technical drawings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and end-users
- Manage distribution communication processes and ensure timely follow-ups
- Organize and assist with industry shows, product launches, and training sessions
- Set up client meetings and maintain ongoing progress communication
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in compressor sales, technical sales, or the gas industry
- Engineering background (mechanical, industrial, or related fields)
- Experience with SAP or similar software
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- Excellent communication, presentation, and sales capabilities
