Located in the South East of Melbourne, they supply premium compressor solutions across Australia and the APAC region, serving industries such as mining, veterinary, food & beverage, medical, research, government, and defense. Their highly organised and tight knit-site fosters a strong company culture and commitment to excellence.
As a Technical Product Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise, managing after-sales support, and building strong relationships with existing clients. This role requires a blend of mechanical engineering knowledge, commercial acumen, and exceptional client management skills to drive business growth and ensure seamless project execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical and project-related support to clients across multiple industries.
- Manage after-sales inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including research institutions, universities, and government sectors.
- Coordinate with internal teams and distribution partners to ensure smooth operations and project execution.
- Identify business opportunities and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.
You qualifications:
- A mechanical engineering background, with experience in air compressor products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships.
- A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to business development.
- Technical expertise to handle customer inquiries and coordinate projects.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
