We’re looking for a Senior BA to join our client's team and drive imperatively technology solutions in the financial services sector.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear epics, features, and stories for agile delivery teams.
- Support credit risk model/application implementations (IFRS9, Basel, APS221, APS220, APS330, etc.).
- Utilise your SAS or SQL expertise for data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and testers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Leverage Agile and Waterfall methodologies to deliver projects in a structured and efficient manner.
- Present insights, influence decision-making, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst in IT consulting or technology business units.
- Strong communication skills – ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
- 3+ years of Credit Risk experience with a deep understanding of credit risk principles.
- 5-10+ years BA experience with a track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- 2-3+ years of daily hands-on experience with SAS or SQL in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience working on data-driven projects, migrations, or credit risk model implementations (Nice to Have).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and modern data platforms.
- Familiarity with SDLC, containerisation, vitalisation, and infrastructure concepts.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
