You will be responsible for drafting clear, concise, and comprehensive interface specifications that will be used as a foundation for development teams. This involves understanding user requirements, technical constraints, and ensuring alignment across all teams.
Domain Modelling (SQL)
A strong grasp of domain modelling is required, using SQL to effectively represent and interact with data. You'll work with databases to ensure seamless integration and proper alignment of system functionality.Basic Understanding of XML and JSON
You'll need to demonstrate a basic understanding of XML and JSON, including their structure and usage in data exchange between systems. This knowledge is essential for defining and handling data interfaces.Understanding of Different System Integration Methods
You will have a solid understanding of various system integration methods, such as:- Flat File Transfer: Designing and implementing file-based integrations.
- API: Understanding the role of APIs in system communication and integration.
Familiarity with Tools Like SOAPUI/Postman
Experience with tools such as SOAPUI and Postman is crucial for testing and validating APIs and web services. These tools will help you ensure interfaces are functioning as expected.Documentation of Interface Requirements
You'll document interface requirements at a level where development teams can immediately begin their work. This documentation will be a key deliverable, ensuring clarity and precision.Cyber Keys
Awareness of security standards, particularly around the management and use of cyber keys, to ensure secure system access and data handling.Scripting – Analytical Skills

- Previous experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, domain modelling, and system integration methods (Flat File, API)
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, SOAPUI, Postman, and other relevant tools
- Experience with documentation and testing
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with external teams
