Randstad is currently working with a top tier defence company who are looking for a Supply Support Operations Manager to support a critical sustainment program for the Royal Australian Navy. The role will support the day-to-day operations of the Capability Life Cycle Management (CLCM) of a major fleet of navy ships.
About the Role
- Lead a team to ensure compliance is maintained in all aspects of the sustainment program in accordance with the Commonwealth and CLCM policies.
- Conduct technical assessments and financial monitoring of the sustainment program.
- Engage in proactive and re-active procurement and inventory management.
- Conduct Data Analysis of supply support data.
- Produce various technical reports related to Supply Support e.g. Demand Satisfaction Rate Reports.
- Participate in various Supply Support Plans, including Supply Management Plan, Engineering Change Management Plan, Inventory and Obsolescence Management Plan.
About you
- Certifications in Integrated Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management.
- Significant experience in a strategic supply support activities for complex defence programs, preferably within the maritime industry.
- Experience in strategic planning, governance, procurement, and data analytics.
- Experience and knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as CMT-U.
- Knowledge of various logistics, inventory, and procurement management tools used in defence e.g. MILIS and NAVALLOW.
- An excellent communicator who can engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
- Outcome focused and demonstrates strong values-based leadership.
