Randstad has been given the opportunity to assist one of our market leading Manufacturing clients in the FMCG industry, in their search for a new Supply Chain Lead, for their site in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
The role is pivotal to the organisation, handling procurement, inbound logistics, warehousing, and materials planning to satisfy external and internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will -
- Have a good level of experience within Supply Chain/ inbound Logistics/Warehousing capacity within a food manufacturing environment.
- Lead a team of two (Direct) and an Indirect team of eight and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain of this fast-growing organisation.
- Be responsible for Innovation, Quality, and excellent customer service are USPs, and the supply chain function
- set strategies for achieving those objectives with a lean mindset while establishing a responsive supply chain model.
- Work very closely with the Manufacturing manager for day-to-day matters related to Warehousing and inbound logistics, reporting to the General manager for strategic procurement-related matters.
