They are currently celebrating a very successful end to 2024 which has stemmed from having a long standing name in the Sydney build arena and a solid repeat business foot print in their desired sector. They build small to large scale estates all over Sydney and Sydney Metro and have a full order book going into 2025.
... The Role:
Recently they have picked up a medley of interesting new build project homes, with plans to build 200 new homes in 2025. Reporting directly to the allocated Project Manager you will be responsible for helping the daily operations of a busy site. In particular pushing the trades, interpreting plans, supervising concrete pours, partitioning walls and general supervision from the ground up.
Duties:
- Supervision / coordination of trades, site personnel and subcontractors.
- Manage defects
- QA
- Documenting site activity
- Compliance and monitoring of WHS
- Ensuring carpentry works are being carried out in accordance to plans.
- Materials orders
- Working closely with the Project Manager to review the status of the project.
- Lead a team of site staff in delivering projects
- Site diaries
Criteria :
- Previous experience working for a similar home builder in Australia and the ability to supervise these projects in a fast paced environment.
- Experience complying with WHS.
- Trade Qualified - preferably Carpentry
- High communication skills and attention to detail
- Cert IV in Building & Construction and a Site Supervisor License
- Be hungry to fast track up the ranks in a bustling environment.
- Full driver’s license.
- Computer literate, strong communication skills with ability to communicate with people on all different levels effectively.
- A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
- Good management approach.
