Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all sales activities within your state territory, including developing and executing sales strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the industrial automation space.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition through lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
- Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
- Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consultations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, providing regular reports to senior management on performance.
- Travel within the state to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and represent the company in industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in industrial automation, control systems, or related fields.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Must have demonstrated tenure of at least 3-5 years in previuous roles
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team of sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of industrial automation products and technologies (PLC, SCADA, robotics, sensors, etc.).
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel within the state as required.
- Strong CRM experience and proficiency in sales reporting tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
