Are you an experienced Spray Painter looking to expand your skills? This role will see you working at our Bendigo facility within workshops that manufacture the Bushmaster and Hawkei Protected Vehicles for the Australian Defence Force.
The Role
Your role will involve the following, but not limited to;
- Painting of all types of vehicles and components
- Paint preparation
- Grit blasting
- Sanding
- Masking.
- Maintaining records, logbooks accurately

Essential Experience & Qualifications
You will be required to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance. You will also need to complete a pre-employment assessment.
To be successful for the role you will have:
- Qualified in certificate III in automotive vehicle body (vehicle painting) or similar.
- You will be an experienced spray painter. Someone who is looking to work in a trades team environment with access to the quality tools, materials and techniques.
- Have the ability to break down, set up and stabilise established spray painting and other metal finishing processes
- Experienced in managing/preparing spray booth/paint mixing facilities
- Experience working in environments that prioritise safety, quality control, and adherence to operational standards.
Desirable Experience and licences
- Elevated Work Platform and Forklift licence (advantageous)
- A background in process improvement initiatives or participation in efficiency-focused projects is a plus.
