We’re seeking a dedicated Sports Management Officer for our client in the local government sector to play a key role in shaping sport and recreation initiatives in Launceston. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and enhancing recreational experiences for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on and driving development in sport and recreation initiatives
- Supporting local clubs and organizations to boost community participation
- Identifying funding opportunities and overseeing facility maintenance strategies
- Managing recreational facilities and operations, including swimming complexes and community parks
Ideal candidates will have experience in sports or recreation development, strong project management skills, and the drive to make a difference. A background in Sports Administration or Human Movement is a plus!
