About the Role

As a Specialist Palliative Care Nurse (Casual), you will deliver patient-centred care to those with life-limiting illnesses across the hospital. You'll work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, offering physical, emotional, and psychosocial support.

This casual role offers flexibility and variety — with opportunities to work across inpatient units, outpatient services, and provide advice through after-hours support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced symptom management and clinical support
• Offer emotional and practical support to patients and their loved ones
• Work collaboratively with the palliative care team and other hospital departments
• Contribute to after-hours on-call support where applicable
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

About You

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year experience with current AHPRA registration
• Empathetic, adaptable, and confident working independently
• Availability for varied casual shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Melbourne, Caufield area.
