Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate forecasts align with production needs
- Assist the procurement team in preparing, reviewing, and processing tender documents, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and drive procurement solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of procurement and contract documentation in relevant systems.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and timelines that meet the business's needs.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications within Procurement, Supply Chain or relevant discipline
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and manage multiple sourcing tasks.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach with a results-driven mindset.
- A keen interest in building a career in sourcing and procurement.
