Work part of a large mining group in respects to an innovative software application that has multiple users internally and externally. The aim of this role is to join as an engineer/developer with two years experience and to build on coding that will help with future deployments from a testing perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior leadership team reporting to a lead who expects quality of code and will nuture your career plus having tier one mining experience.
- JavaScript/TypeScript Development is the key to this role so you need to be proficient not just less than a year of coding in either.
- Investigate and resolve deployment issues and errors across different environments (development, staging, production) to ensure smooth release cycles.
- Maintain detailed documentation for deployment processes, automation scripts, and deployment pipeline work flows. Communicate status updates to relevant teams effectively.
Experience
- Deployment Automation: Basic understanding of deployment automation, scripting, and infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues related to software deployments and automation processes.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
