Software Engineer – Contract Role (Mid-April Start)
Location: Melbourne, VIC (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
Contract: Until 31 March 2026
Rate: $750 per day inc super

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced team, contributing to the delivery of robust, scalable software solutions. This is a contract opportunity based in Melbourne, with a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and test high-quality software using TypeScript, GraphQL, React, Node.js, Docker, and AWS

• Develop and maintain APIs, with a focus on Product APIs

• Write unit tests and contribute to secure, clean, and efficient code

• Participate in Agile practices and DevOps environments

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers

Requirements:

• Multiple years’ experience in Software Engineering in large organisations working on complex projects

• Strong experience across TypeScript, GraphQL, React, Node.js, Docker, and AWS

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment

• Solid communication skills and ability to adapt to changing business requirements

• One-hour technical and behavioural interview
