The Role
As an Insurance Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing residential construction projects that are insurance-backed. Your expertise will help ensure timely completion, compliance with regulations, and quality standards. You’ll work closely with insurance adjusters, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects meet the necessary requirements and are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage residential construction projects covered by insurance, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with insurance companies, adjusters, and homeowners to assess project needs and determine scope of work.
- Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality work.
- Ensure that the project adheres to all relevant building codes, insurance standards, and safety protocols.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project status and any changes or adjustments.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring that costs are controlled and deadlines are met.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure all work meets quality standards and insurance requirements.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the project, working with insurance providers to resolve concerns.
Experience/Qualifications Required
- A stable track record of delivering similar sized projects for a residential or insurance builder
- A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
- Strong software skills in programs such as Prime, procore and MS suites.
- Experience as a Carpenter or Site Supervisor on residential and insurance projects
