Our client is a successful and thriving tier 2 builder with projects all over Victoria. Due to the demands of the program, they’re seeking a Site Manager that can step in and provide temporary ongoing cover at the weekends and occasional weekdays when needed. As the suitable candidate you will have a background of working on major commercial projects in the $20M-$50M bracket and ideally have experience in the front end phase of a project, including bulk earthworks, civils and concrete slabwork.

Requirements:

• Commercial industrial experience essential
• Able to pass a police check and get security clearance
• Tier 2 project experience preferred
• Experience of working on $20M+ projects
• Solid IT experience essential
• Trade background

This is a great opportunity for someone who stepped away from fulltime employment but still wants to earn a living in the construction industry. This project has just started, so there could be a significant pipeline of work ahead for the right person. Ideally, you will have prior experience of working on major commercial projects with union presence. You will also be conversant with running procore and hammertech and know your way around a commercial building site. The successful candidate will require security clearance for this project.
