We are currently seeking highly experienced and motivated Site Managers, Site Supervisors, and Foremen to join teams across the ACT and Surrounding NSW on fixed term contracts to assist clients in getting projects over the line, while providing candidates further training and upskilling opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals looking for challenging and rewarding projects across both commercial and residential construction sectors. Successful candidates will be strong performers with a proven track record of leadership, safety, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Effectively lead and motivate site teams, including direct employees, subcontractors, and suppliers. Provide clear direction, delegate tasks appropriately, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Champion and enforce all company safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions. Ensure a strong safety culture is maintained across all site activities.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, clients, and other stakeholders. Ensure smooth work-flow and proactive problem-solving.
- Monitor project progress against the schedule, identify potential delays, and implement strategies to mitigate risks. Ensure efficient resource allocation and work-flow.
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with relevant building codes and specifications. Conduct regular quality checks and address any defects promptly.
- Monitor site expenditure and ensure efficient use of resources. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or quality.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders. Prepare regular site reports, including progress updates, safety reports, and any issues or concerns.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Foreman on construction projects. With positive references from previous employers and subcontractors.
- Demonstrated experience across local commercial or residential construction projects is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct site teams effectively.
- Impeccable safety track record with a thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using relevant site management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license, and transport
- White Card (General Construction Induction Training), Asbestos, Silica tickets
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Building).
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Specific certifications related to site management or safety (e.g., Supervisor Training, Working at Heights).
- Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in NSW and ACT

Requirements:
Successful candidates will need to be fit and able to complete Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening and Clear Police Check. Candidates must hold full and unrestricted work rights in Australian or Australian Citizenship
