Seeking a Senior/ Principal Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. Responsible for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit and provide technical advice relating to electrical design through to project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead an Electrical project design team, engineers and draftspersons to carry out multiple projects
- Ensure Electrical design for the project meets all project objectives
- Detailed design of electrical systems and subsystems
- Coordinate consulting engineers to carry out studies or scope of works
- Prepare design work to meet engineering specifications and comply with relevant standards
- Procurement of materials and equipment to complete projects
- Carry out basic estimates for engineering work
- Customer, contractor, and supplier liaison
- Perform commissioning and testing of installed equipment
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with a broad range of electrical design, project engineering and project support
- Senior/ Principal level of Electrical Engineering with CPEng certification
- Similar related heavy industry experience
- Ideally full project lifecycle experience
- LV to HV (primary and secondary systems)
- Protection, earthing, lighting
- Hazardous area competency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and problem solving ability
- MS Suite, MS Project and AutoCad desirable
- Drivers License
