The Senior Test Lead will be responsible for undertaking testing activities including the preparation of supporting documentation and reports. They will be part of a Test team that provides testing services for the project. Work closely with the project manager to select vendors for Penetration testing, Performance testing and Accessibility testing.

The Senior Test Lead will be responsible for the following deliverables within the project:

● Lead and mentor the testing team, providing guidance and support.
● Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
● Conduct training sessions for testers on tools,processes, or new technologies
● Creating testing artefacts, including test plan and test summary report documents.
● Identify risks in the testing process and suggest mitigation strategies.
● Ensure critical functionality is prioritized in testing
● Identify areas for test automation and oversee implementation.
● Maintain and update automated test scripts as necessary.
● Knowledge of programming languages
● Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles (SDLC and STLC).
● Managing and co-ordinating test efforts.
● Ensuring that the testing standards and templates align to Council’s and to the industry practices.
● Mentoring and providing guidance to subject matter experts within Council.
● Assist in managing and implementing the test and assurance process for the project.


Required skills and experience:
For example:
● Oracle 8I/ PL/SQL
● project management experience
● strong customer service skills.
● Experience with testing different web and mobile applications.
● Experience with testing Adobe Experience Manager, Microsoft Azure products include Azure B2C and Microsoft Dataverse
