Senior Technology Consultant (Level 3) - 12 month contract - North Sydney/hybrid - Must be Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident currently.
The Senior Technology Consultant will have both On Cloud and On-Premise experience and provide dedicated support to the business’s internal network and staff which will include desktop, server and cloud support, network troubleshooting, project deployments and expert advice.
About the role
- Assist IT Operations Manager in designing and deploying complex systems to meet business requirements, considering scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, analyse logs, monitor system performance, and collaborate with other teams to fix problems (Level 3)
- Implement and deploy both cloud and on-premises systems, configuring hardware and software components, and integrating technologies.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization environments.
About you
- Previous work experience as a System administration (Windows or Linux)
- Hands on experience with Cloud Technologies including Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and Azure Storage.
- Networking experience (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching, wireless technology) and network infrastructure (LAN/WAN)
- Virtualization and cloud computing platforms experience (VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure)
- Scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
