Join our client’s Digital Consumer Finance team, based in the state-of-the-art Tech Hub on the Gold Coast. As a Senior Technical Project Manager (Technology Risk and Regulation), you'll ensure the protection of their customers' data and systems, driving innovation within the hub. How Will I Help?
- Risk Management: Oversee and lead technical risk assessments, manage incidents, and support a vulnerability management program of work for Digital and Consumer Finance (DCF) systems.
- Governance: Support the governance processes of Technologies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to both business and technology risk forums.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business units, and external stakeholders to ensure DCF risk management objectives are achieved.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance, mentorship, and support to technology delivery and support teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Problem Solving: Drive technology teams to identify, assess, and resolve complex technical issues and incidents, always prioritizing customer impact.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in enhancing risk management processes and drive initiatives to improve the security and resilience of DCF systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Digital and Consumer Finance Technology teams to create remediation plans for systems with vulnerabilities, particularly internet-facing systems.
- Promote best practices in vulnerability management by working with practice to strengthen system defenses.
- Deliver System Risk Plans (covering vulnerability, out-of-support systems, and security incidents) to senior leaders (GM1) and provide quarterly reports to the CIO and GM business forums.
- Manage customer-impacting incidents in the tech domain, coordinating cross-team support for quick and effective resolution
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in project delivery, focusing on risk management and technical leadership.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of security and vulnerability management, with experience in digital internet-facing applications. Experience with consumer finance systems is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Technical background with PMP and Agile Scrum certifications preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong PM skills, with experience managing both business and technical initiatives.
- Negotiation Skills: Skilled at negotiating outcomes across teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
