g for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team. With over 50 years of industry experience, they provide cutting-edge solutions across public safety, utilities, and enterprise sectors worldwide.
As part of their technical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced wireless communication systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and providing high-quality support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on technical role, you will be responsible for:
Deployments & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues across network and terminal components efficiently.
Technical Guidance: Providing detailed technical support and guidance to customers on system operations and best practices.
Customer Report Generation: Producing clear and detailed reports on issues, resolutions, and system performance.
Component & Software Testing: Testing and validating network components and software updates to ensure high performance.
ITIL-Aligned Incident & Problem Management: Applying ITIL principles for structured problem resolution.
On-Call Support: Being available for scheduled on-call hours to provide critical technical assistance outside regular business hours.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Experience in a technical support role within ICT or wireless communications.
Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems - an ADVantage.
Familiarity with ITIL Service Management principles for structured support processes.
Knowledge of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) technologies such as P25, DMR, conventional, trunking, and simulcast systems. Experience with LTE technologies is also beneficial.
A relevant engineering degree or equivalent work experience in wireless communications or ICT.
