Spearheading this monumental project is the Spark consortium, engaged by the Victorian Government under an $11.2 billion Public Private Partnership—the largest in the state's history. Within this collaboration, our client, The North East Link State Tolling Corporation (STC) has a pivotal role, acting as the asset-owner upon completion, responsible for managing toll collection and ensuring the sustained success of the North East Link freeway.
About the Role: Step into the role of Senior Systems Engineer at STC and help redefine the future of transportation and mobility systems. Key Responsibilities:
... - Systems Engineering Leadership: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of the Roadside System, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
- Technical Oversight: Manage procurement processes, conduct technical reviews, and collaborate with contractors to resolve issues and ensure system readiness.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on system performance, maintenance, and compliance with security protocols.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging your technical expertise to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Graduate or postgraduate degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong background in ITS or Electronic Toll Collection systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in network infrastructure, communication systems, and security controls.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
