Must-Have Skills:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience across the full SDLC.
- Veteran of multiple projects, teams, and situations.
- Language and platform agnostic, with a passion for fostering a learning culture.
Languages & Frameworks:
- At least 5 years working in medium-sized corporate web application development teams.
- Strong experience with Django/Python.
- Skilled in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Svelte, and Angular.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
Build / Test / Deploy / Monitor / Support:
- Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong in unit, integration, API, and end-user automation testing, including TDD.
- Highly experienced in operating, monitoring, and supporting production systems.
- Familiar with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Architecture / Design:
- Experience with queues and designing for loose coupling and high cohesion systems.
- Familiar with design patterns and anti-patterns, knowing when to apply them.
Culture / Leadership / Delivery:
- Proven ability in code reviewing, technical mentoring, and peer reviews.
- Skilled in coaching less experienced team members to navigate challenges successfully.
- Experienced in leading complex software projects from initial concept to production.
