Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking a talented Site Manager to lead commercial fit-out projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
... - Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring work meets project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, liaising closely with the site team, subcontractors, and external designers.
- Prepare and enforce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and ensure compliance with WHS standards.
- Anticipate challenges through excellent forward-planning and maintain a solutions-focused approach.
- Provide regular updates to clients, fostering trust and building strong professional relationships.
- Maintain detailed site records and manage documentation efficiently.
- Conduct project completion walkthroughs with subcontractors, issuing and managing defect lists.
- Represent the company in client pitch meetings, offering insights on project delivery and ensuring high satisfaction.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 10+ years in Australia as a Site Manager, specifically within commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects.
- Technical Expertise: Carpentry trade background (highly regarded) and proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of WHS procedures, building standards, codes, and permit processes.
- Skills: Exceptional organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Attitude: Proactive, client-focused, and eager to be part of a top-performing team.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with project management tools like Procore and Hammertech is an advantage.
- Requirements: Only candidates with Australian commercial fit-out experience will be considered.
