About the Role
The Senior Service Technician oversees field service operations, combining hands-on work with team leadership. Responsibilities include optimising resource allocation, scheduling, and processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role also involves managing a high-performing team, ensuring safety compliance, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and control costs.
As the Senior Service Technician combines hands-on and management duties, your starting period in the role will involve primarily operating out in the field, familiarising yourself with clients and equipment. After this period, you will be supported closely to manage job allocation, team management, and payroll systems.
- Pay: $130,000 -$135,000 p.a

- OT: After-hours and weekend call-outs available

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to field service technicians, assisting with troubleshooting and repairs of equipment or systems.
- Optimize resource use, monitor inventory levels, track maintenance, and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of necessary supplies and parts.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, generate performance reports, and update management on service metrics and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance field service efficiency, staying current on industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and technical support to align field service activities with business objectives.
- Cover for personnel during planned and unplanned absences, including acting as manager backup when needed.
About You
- Certificate III Electrotechnology
- Electrical contractor's licence (Desirable)
- 5+ year's experience relevant experience
- OHS General Induction Card (Construction General Induction)
- High Risk Work License – Forklift truck (HRWL-LF)
- Confined Space
- Can read, understand and interpret plans, blueprints, elevations and diagrams
- Understands and has an intermediate level of knowledge of electrical wiring and systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
